How to solve WordPress roles?
This theme seems to ruin WordPress's roles. It makes it so authors can't write 'posts' and so to have contributors you have to give them 'editor' status, which means they can edit published posts, which is not good.
I tried using a Roles and Capabilities plugin but it doesn't work with this theme either. All configurations result in either giving anyone who has ability to write posts all other capabilities or giving them none at all (can't even write posts or upload media)
How have people solved this?
