Thread: Job types with indeed imported jobs?

Job types with indeed imported jobs?

I see there is a sidebar with "job types" for full time part, ect. but is this only for jobs created on the site itself or does this work too for jobs imported from indeed, so you can search for part/full time jobs only, if not how can you search for full or part time jobs individually rather than having both in the search results?

You can set job queries to select certain job types, but essentially the search is using keyword to pull up Indeed job results. You can read a little more about the setup here which gives a better idea of how the job queries/search works. Thanks.

I''m curious about this too, lets say you imported all types of jobs (full time part time ect) and you only wanted to search for full time, is there any way to do this so it brings up full time jobs only, instead of brining some full time , some part time ect, i see in the search engine you can search by location and job type, but is there anyway to search by job type in the search engine, for jobs not created on your own site, but for ones imported from others (indeed ect)

Probably not since you can;t do that with jobs on the site either, i see you can broswe by job type here http://demos.appthemes.com/jobroller/ would improted jobs from indeed or simply hired be categorized on your own site too, or are the jobs that were created on your site the only ones which are categorized?

As has been stated, when using the main search fields you'd be either searching by keyword or job type, but not really both. Thanks.

If you're browsing by category, it will display the jobs listed on the site and then relevant Indeed listings are displayed as "Sponsored listings" separately. You can read a little more about this on the Indeed documentation. Thanks.
