Remove the Price when item is sold (from single-ad_listing; not loop-ad_listing) $

Although I have seen this in auction sites, I have never seen classified sites where an item has sold and the price remains.

I have the SOLD ribbon and the price tag removed if marked as sold in the loop-ad_listing.php file - Works and looks good. However, the price tag is still visible in the single-ad_listing.

I suggest either:

1) Remove price tag if marked as sold
or
2) IDEAL: Keep the price tag, but fill the tag in with the words SOLD! or swap with custom SOLD image. Original price hidden, but not overwritten in database.

BTW I tried submitting this to the Ideas Exchange, but it returns blank page.


For the mod entrepreneurs: I'm sure people would pay for a solution. I'd pay $5 for solution #1 or $10 for solution #2. I need this soon. Thank you
