The CSV Import Tool Has Major Bugs
I am using Vantage 1.3.2 and the CSV Importer Tool
1. All listings import correctly.
2. Listings can be claimed or assigned by the admin.
3. The new owner can upgrade or retain free listing.
4. All listings expire just fine.
DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO RENEW THESE LISTINGS - Major Bugs from here out.
1. Any listing that was claimed and either retained as free or upgraded by its new owner cannot be renewed to a feature package. It will expire within 1 hour. This happens whether they are renewing for the monthly plan or for a subscription plan.
2. Any listing that was claimed and either retained as free or upgraded by its new owner can be renewed as free, but two listings will be created. One listing has categories assigned and one does not have any categories assigned. Then if someone searches your site, both listings show up in the results.
The only workaround I have at the moment is to add a note on the renew form that tells people they may continue with this form if they created the original listing. If they claimed a listing that we created (with our CSV tool) they have to Create A New Listing. Its not a perfect solution, but better than the problem above.
