Featured Listings also show at top of Recently Added

I use Vantage with the Directory child theme.
When selecting "Featured" it shows all the featured listings followed by all other listings in date sequence.
When selecting "Recently added" it shows exactly the same as for Featured (i.e. Featured listings followed by all other listings in date sequence).
Question 1 - Should only the featured listings be shown when selecting "Featured"?
Question 2 - Should the "Featured" listings also be shown in date sequence in the list of "Recently added" as some of them were listed months ago already but still show up first?
