Vantage Homepage error: Internal server error

Hi all,
i am using latest wordpress with latet version of vantage theme since updrage i am getting this error frequently. when loading homepage, adding an event or publishing a post. also clicking on site logo causes this error.
i have spoken to my host we have checked everything on server side is running smooth.
i have also fresh copy of theme downloaded + child theme both latest versions
i have also disabled all plugins but the issue doesn't go away
now please help me as my site has become a joke it works and it doesn't depending on its mood. Most have suggested the issue to be the theme and not compatible / compliant with wordpress 4.0 as we have been working to fix it since 22nd November. we have tried all the available hacks on the internet. now here
Any help will be much appreciated as we have run out of options.
