Add Custom Fields to the Registration Form: checkboxes

Hi,

I'd like to add checkboxes to the registration form. I followed this tutorial: http://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials/...stration-form/
There is no example for checkboxes in it. The problem is checkboxes output multiple values. I can't manage in recording multiple values (array) in the DB.
Have anyone done this before? I would be very thankful for any advice. Thank you.
