Thread: activate registration

activate registration

This may be a basic query. But have tried and not able to activate registration. From user side when you click on registration it displays ** User registration is currently disabled. Please contact the site administrator. ** message.

I do not provide the link because I know there is one but as I can use the forum search you can use it too... when I say sometimes in the forum that there are existing threads it is because I've been reading concerning it a time ago but I do NOT have all the links as favorites in my browser.

Rubencio, 86HW is right. You should provide a link. If you do not remember it this is fine. You can just tell people that there is one somewhere else in this forum. You do not need to answer in an agressive way.

Just because one is a newbie doesn't mean that should be treated like trash. After all we paid to buy this service. REMEMBER THAT

This maybe because its disabled in the wordpress dashboard.

Go to your dashboard, then general and make sure that "Membership Anyone can register" is ticked and then save and try again.

Well this thread was real helpful. Can we focus on the question at hand? I'm having the same problem, and cannot find it in my dashboard/general section. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
