    Wordpress Upgrade 4.1.2 - messed up website

    The April 20, 2015 WP 4.1.2 upgrade completely changed my website, not to mention, replaced my AppThemes Vantage install to a different Vantage install by https://siteorigin.com/theme/ . I have no clue what to do ?? I tried Restore my backup, but nothing changed. Anyone else have any issues or know what I should do??

    reinstall your backup theme
    The Vantage theme form Apptheme conflict with Vantage Theme from siteorigine
    you should consider disabling auto backup for your theme or WP maybe so you can control updates

    Delete the Vantage theme that is not from Appthemes and upload the latest Vantage theme from the Appthemes website.

    Never update to the Vantage theme that comes automatically to your themes folder asking to update - it is not from Appthemes.

    Personally I find this incredibly annoying and would like to know how to remove the wrong theme update.

    Appthemes may need to adjust their version numbers because the Vantage theme by Siteorigin has very similar theme version numbers, otherwise this issue will persist.

    I've had to do this at least four times on one of our websites. AppThemes, this is really ridiculous! Please advise on when this will be fixed.
