Hello %author% is the new trend
Not sure if it's because of updating
WP or installing the rename author slug plugin or the manage roles plugin, but it just got flagged to me that when users reset their passwords, they are seeing:

If I go in the Customize Emails plugin and disable the Password reset notifications, they default email that goes out works fine and states the author's nicename instead of hello %author%...
I have a feeling that any custom email that contains %author% in it is not rendering the author's nicename.
Can you justify this change?
