    Too Many Redirects

    I just updated to version 1.8.5 from 1.7.4, and when I try to activate the theme, I get a message saying there are too many redirects.

    I did some searching and found others with this problem, but their solutions don't seem to work. My blog is turned off. My "wordpress url" and my "site address" are the same, as they've always been.

    I also deactivated all my plugins to see if there was a conflict, but I still had the same issue.

    Any ideas?
