    That's not many listings, not enough to cause a server load problem. Your site loaded quick for me using Safari on a Mac and Pingdom reports about 3 seconds load time.

    You could always try this. http://forums.appthemes.com/classipress-general-discussion/how-prevent-sold-ads-appearing-36276/ It may or may not work with the current release. I haven't tried it.

    I agree with you. It should do that. It certainly makes more sense than leaving it to run it's course, which could be a loooooooong time depending on how the packages are set.

    Pruning does, but again if an ad is simply marked SOLD, it isn't marked as expired. An expired ad only gets pruned when the ad duration ends. By marking an ad as sold, all you are effectively...
