You're probably using this coupled with Yoast SEO. There's a setting under Yoast - Titles and Metas - Archives, Author archive settings. It clearly explains why it currently takes you to the homepage.

I fixed the permalink but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
Looks like you're running an old version of ClassiPress (3.4.1) on top of latest WordPress.
Is there a reason you did not upgrade...

Most likely you have another plugin that's generating a new set of opengraph metadata.
Possibly Yoast Seo ... you should go to SEO - Social - FaceBook - Disable Open Graph Meta Data.
