    sort order for filtered category listing pages

    I have set the sort order to 'highest rating' for categories listing pages, this works fine when there is no filter but as soon as the city filter is turned on and the categories page is viewed there is no sort order applied, is there any way to have the sort order applied to filtered listing pages?
