Duplicate Listings

I have:

Main Listings Sort = Default
Home Listings Sort = Default
Featured Listings Sort = Newest First
General Sorting = Most Relevant
Location Sorting = Closest Distance

When I open up a category from the front end, I am getting duplicate listings show up on different pages. For example, company XYZ shows up on page 1 and when I click on page 2 I am seeing company XYZ again. I checked from the backend to be sure there is only one listing per company and there is.

Is this a know issue or is there a configuration that will fix the issue?

Also, my preferred sort is 1) Featured listings alphabetically followed by 2) Basic listings alphabetically. Can this be configured and if so how?
