Stripe Plugin Version 3.0.0 Missing Option for Inline Check Out

We recently updated the Stripe plugin from Version 2.1.0 – 2019-10-04 to Version 3.0.0 – 2020-12-30

In version 2.1.0 there was an option in the settings "Use the Stripe popup checkout form instead of the embedded one" where you can choose to have the checkout pop up or have it be embedded.

This option appears to have disappeared in version 3.0.0 and on our test site the checkout pop-ups but we would rather have it stay embedded.

Is there a way to embed the Stripe checkout with version 3.0.0 like we had it in 2.1.0?

Also is version 3.0.0 compliant with the current as of today, November 10, 2023 version of the Stripe API?
