Changing size of custom header logo

Hi,

I am new to all this so please bear with me. I uploaded my own header and it had a black background instead of a transparent one. I worked out that this is because Vantage made me crop it, which then saves it as a jpeg, so it loses its transparency.

So, I uploaded my logo to the images folder and now looks fine. I just want to make it bigger. However, it's fixed at width 400, height 70. Where in the php files do I need to go to change these dimensions?
