Restrict non logged in users from seeing certain fields in the sites ads?

    Hi DK,

Hope this doesn't sound too confusing for you.

Is there any chance that you may be able to build an option to exclude personal information from showing to non-logged in users who view the sites ads?

I am not too keen on the idea of casual viewers without an account looking at ads and being able to see the ad posters email/phone number/postcode etc . I don't mind them viewing the ads but personal details should be a no go.

I can add these extra fields using your plugin or via the classipress custom fields but I would like the ability to restrict non members/logged in users from seeing these.

I also think it may be a good idea to have an option to only allow users of the site to be able to only view personal details if they have actually paid to list an ad or bought a membership pack as a double layer of security to protect members who have already paid to list an ad.

My reason for this - To offer some form of extra Data Protection for paying Users.

    Ex.

Casual User - Someone who hasn't registered - can view ads but can not see the personal details in the ad listing or contact the seller.
Registered User - Someone who has registered - can view ads but can not see personal details in the ad listing or contact the seller.

Registered User who has paid to list an ad - can view ads and because they have paid can also see personal details on the ad and can contact the seller.
Registered User who buys a membership or ad pack - can view ads and because they have paid can also see personal details on the ad and can contact the seller.

I know this may not be good for most classipress web masters, but to have an option might actually be a good idea.

    What do you think?

    Regards

    Bleem
