Coupon Configuration
Hi,
I have configured my Coupon plugin in a way that allows a business to choose a plan and (using a coupon code), publish their listing for free for a specific period of time. I would also like to offer the customer the option to tick a box that reads
Keep my listing live after the free trial period expires.
Question: Can the coupon plugin be modified such that upon expiration of the free business listing period, the customers listing either remains live on the site or goes into draft mode based on the customers selection during the select a plan step? See image for details.
My thinking is that of a potential client who likes my Vantage directory portal and wants to list their business.
Allowing this potential paying customer to select a plan with an initial free trial period opens up the option to auto-convert this potential customer into a paying (recurring payments) customer upon expiration of their selected plan by simply allowing them to tick a box. You don't have to remind them that their listing has expired and gone into draft mode and try to get them to re-list and re-pay.
Basically it would allow them to set it and forget it which they would do because they...
1. Want to be listed on your site
2. Love the free trial offer
3. Appreciate not having to be reminded or bothered about the status of their listing. They could set it and forget it.
Thoughts?
