    Exporting a complete CP installation

    Hi All,
I saw that there is a plugin that allow to backup the database, that saves the posts/ads loaded in Classipress, but I am looking for something more complete.

I will explain it with an example.
Letīs say that I have a website called "www.blablabla2009.com", and we are in December 31st 2009.

Ok, I would like to be able to make a "one clikc" "transfer" of all that I have in "www.blablabla2009.com" towards the "www.blablabla2010.com" domain.
I would like to move EVERYTHING that I have in the 2009 domain (all the users, ads, advertisements, settings, plugins, posts, comments, etc.) into the 2010 domain in just one click (or two ).

Maybe there is a plugin that already exists that allows me to do it easily instead of manually installing Classipress again in the new domain and export/import the database, re-activate all the plugins, etc. etc.?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Best regards
    Alex

Re: Exporting a complete CP installation

WordPress has a way under Tools in your WordPress dashboard to export your entire site content, then you can import it to a new install of WordPress. The only thing you would need to do is manually copy over your uploads directory with all the uploaded images from your ad listings.

As for a specific WordPress plugin, have you checked the official WordPress Plugin directory?

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

I did a quick search and found the following plugin that might help you out and also backup the uploads directory for you:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/efiles-backup/

    Hope that helps.
