Feature requests

I just bought your theme, but here are some possible features I wish to share/ request.

Admin control:
1. Admin should choose payment type allowed for the whole site or by category

• Full payment
  Cost per click
  Cost per hundred clicks
  Cost per thousand clicks

For the 1st case (Full payment), the customer should pay immediately to purchase the service.
For rest of the cases, the customer should provide paypal/ credit card info when posting the ad, and the admin can set up auto-deduct after x days, end of week/month or on completion of hundred or thousand clicks.

2. Stop ad posting:
Is it possible to prevent users from posting classifieds to the website, so that only the Admin can post the ads? Also, can the "Post a classified" button not be displayed?

Ad posting:
Discount coupon- Ability for user to add a discount coupon to his offering

Viewing:
1. Ability for users to rate a classified (1 to 5 stars) - This can be used to indicate whether the ad is useful to the community.

2. Most viewed ads - Can we have like a "blogroll" to show the most viewed ads, best rated ads etc? Or use tags with their font weights indicating how many times they were viewed etc.

Hi Madhav-

The cost per click pricing model would be tough to do because you can't really store their paypal info and charge them without permission later. I think it makes more sense for you anyhow to just charge a flat rate (or % fee) up front so you can collect payment in advance.

You can turn off user registration so nobody else can register and post ads. You can also go into the code and remove the button but the purpose of this software is to post classified ads.

I like your suggestion about having discount coupons available. I will look into adding that in the future.

There are several plugins for users to rate posts/ads. Here is a list of some I just found via Google.

There is also a few plugins that can show most viewed ads. This time you get to do the search. Look for "WordPress most popular posts plugin"

BUt in paypal itself there is a built-in "subscription" payment button you can use. I have used it for my clients before. It would not be without the client's permission to charge a monthly fee for ads if they went though this and the wording on the site and following emails said that the monthly subscription charges are beginning. Anyway...that is my thoughts on that...

Also I was going to post this request as well... the discount coupon.. but I see it has been requested. This would be real nice to have in future.
