It would be great if you could integrate
Open Id: http://openid.net/ or
Facebook Connect: http://developers.facebook.com/connect.php

Ive noticed especially with my site that people have an aversion to registering but would rather just post their ad. Having one login or being able to login with facebook would be sweet

Another thing you might want to take a look at is this plugin:

Have not tried it myself but I personally like the idea of having it already integrated as you said.

I sorta have facebook connector working on my site (scared to hit that create template button) my goal is to have this implemented by tonight. But since its a bit ofa headache one i totally figure it out ill write a guide and hopefully 3.0 will have facebook support

Figured it out works like a charm logs the user within Wordpress and such even lets me email the users who sign up through Facebook
