Someone else may have already suggested a location filter I think? I just got asked the question if a person can search for a specific location, and I realised that the current "Search Classifieds" option doesn't pick up the location in the search. It only picks up what is in the body of the ad. So yeah..that would be great if possible thanks

This should already be working. Try the demo and you'll see if you search for the location the results come back. What version of CP do you have pepsi? 2.8.?

Yeah, it's the latest one you sent out.

Not sure why mine isn't working then? If for example I try searching for the listings in "Hamilton" or "Invercargill" (which there are one of each)..it comes back with nothing. I know that if I put in "West" that it comes back with all my listings in West Auckland but that could be because I mention the location in the body of my ad.

Hi, I just installed it myself and am finding the same issue. The search function appears to only hit the title and description fields.

What's the url to your site? Let me take a look. The new version due out in a couple of weeks will fix it for sure.

Same here - no searching on 'manchester' as a location.

Apparently that was a bug in 2.8.2 which will be fixed in 2.9.
