The extension for a favicon is .ico
Call the file favicon.ico
You probably will have to add a plugin in photoshop to be able to save this type of file.
If you create the file, 16x16 px you upload to your server and and the code to the header.php it must work. There is no more complication.
you can also use a png format.
i had to add the link to a different page...it is escaping me at the moment...it may have been the theme specific header file.
AH!, I get it now. Sorry. Sometimes you mod stuff so much it just becomes a feature in your head. LOL
Ok, yes it would be nice to just add it to the Classipress settings panel like the logo image.
