Checkbox suggestion for v3.1

Good news that Checkbox's will be available as an option in v3.1, but could i suggest just a little thought for the dev's...

To make the code easily accessible so that we can place it into the sidebar (should we wish to) on the single ad page..

Hugo, can you mock up an image of what you are talking about? Give us a visual of what you are thinking about with checkboxes in a sidebar. I presume you mean that the sidebar contains more details about the single ad that is displayed on that page. Verdad? O no? Photoshop up a visual of this doobie, please.

A visual would take more time to do than to explain... lets just say for example this is based on real estate themed classipress

Basicaly show the checkbox results for the respective single ad in a sidebar div (or multiple divs), one div for Amenities, another below for Local points of interest and so on.

The crux being that the results returned can be styled left as a list, displayed inline. My thoughts are to keep the single ad page shorter rather being a long page and scrolling down for more info that can be right there in the sidebar and draws your eye as the page loads.

Okay, sounds do-able. I may experiment with that today.

SIDEBAR Property Checkboxes for Real Estate

Okay, Hugo, I created a sidebar that lists the Checkboxed values that apply to each property on a real estate site. So, for the single ad display it could keep the Property listing shorter by assigning the EXTRAS that you created checkboxes in the original form.

I am attaching an image of this in action.

I have left the checkboxes displaying in the left column as before (for sake of comparison) and then included a specific sidebar in the right column that shows the same information with just a different CSS styling applied to it.

Aqui es el ejemplo mas reciente..

putting the checkbox custom fields lists into the sidebar, in this case, the "Ads" sidebar, only forcing it to display at the Top, not after maps and ads and any other widget.

Thats where i would have it, only difference being a hide empty div/show login above it

Seth. Have you and David had a look at the example vienna provided? I hope you guys will take it under consideration for the new custom fields in 3.1. Any feedback?
