Inherit address from profile for ad listing

Right now someone has to enter an address for each ad they place, it would be grand if there was an option to use their address from the profile (assuming the site has created custom fields for address)

That way, if its one person or business registering muliple ads, they dont have to redo it each time (kind of liek amazon or something where you can select to either use existing address or create a new one)

I have used the plugin register plus http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/register-plus/
which enables you to add additional fields (address fields) to the register page.
The additional fields can also be added to the profile page via the plugin (it just needs a bit css styling).

Then I added the address fields to the poster tab and removed them from the add form.

I was thinking of doing simular, in your setup tho do you use the map features? Cause they go off the address assigned in the ad section I think - its easy enough to update the map (Im switching mine over to the v3 g api so you dont have to use a key anyways)

No I am not using this feature so I didn't have any problems with that.

bluecafe... I'm just wondering how you did that? (remove the fields from the ad form).

Looking in WP-Admin/ClassiPress/Custom Fields - I can't delete Post Code, Country, State, City, Street from here.

Looking in step-functions.php - this seems to pull all these fields as part of a function... so I'm not quite sure how I can echo the user_meta from register-plus.

    Cheers,
    Kim

I think this is a great idea!
There is nothing more anoying then entering your adres over and over again , while logged in!

So a more advanced profile page with all details entered like adres with google map , which will automatically be inserted (or left out) while posting an ad!

David , could you please respond to this, wether if its taken into the next update?
Myself is urgently looking for a developer who can do this, but it would be a waste of money if it will be in the update.
