There should be a "Link in Ad" option, similar to the Featured Ad option, when filling the Post Ad form. Many of my customers are willing to spend extra to have a link in the ad, even if it has the "no follow" attribute.
Why don't you use CUSTOM FIELD option and create this box? You can even many customs fields..like everything including website, telephone number and compnay name etc..

So what was your code that was able to grab the payment like the featured ads do? Where did you enter how much you wanted to charge for the link? Did you create a custom field for this in the backend as well? What table did you use to control this purchase in the database? Please provide your code so I can do this too.
