Hi

I have checked a premium classifieds theme (for wp) which uses a kindda beautiful contact form ! it's not only sleek but also more efficient !!!

it is an Ajax pop-up contact form ! I think sidebar contact form is not a good idea at all !!

u know why ? bcuz if a visitor needs to know about an ad he will certainly reads its details to the bottom of the description section, won't he ? so he should come back to the top again to contact the ad owner ! it must be placed just under the descriptions.
I did it myself but I think even this idea is not good yet ! so what ?
just a button titled as "Contact ad owner" is enough ! it can be clicked the a lightbox contact form will appear ! no space is wasted any more! ha ?

Hope u guys leave a reply ! I need ur opinion !

To the developer: Remember, the purpose is to SELL - not to use precious screen space with "forms".

Thanx for ur positive comment ! I think as u said they definitely lose the new customers ! I love CP but if the features I need is not implemented I'll change my mind to (unfortunately) purchase another theme !!!

I take that back, even though it is true.
The "form" does create a "call to action" more than a button would.

And there is a goodly amount of ad space, plus the zoom image can be VERY wide if desired.

I'm afraid I don't agree, the little button is easy to miss and as Cloudybright says the motivation is to sell. I always take a lead from the guys who've been doing it longest, you won't find a little button ajax form on an amazon or ebay site - I think selling is leading people by the hand a quickly as possible to the transaction, clicking a little button is an extra step, show people what to do and they'll give you money, hopefully...

Dear r u the owner of Amazon.com!!!! u compare two different things ! u can never establish a several million $ making website with Classipress right ? on the other hand users are getting more sophisticated on the net so there's lil probability that users miss it !

anyway I don't like bz websites ! u know psychologically it is not right ! bcuz today people have a lot to do so thay can't take a crowded place even if it's a website ! it is my opinion and maybe funny to u guys ! hope some1 understand me!
