Ad count (0) How to hide?

As the title says I am trying to hide the count on the categories. When I click on the categories it shows the number of ads for that category.
I followed these instructions from another thread.

Removed from themes-fuctions.php the following:
(<?php echo $cat->category_count; ?>)

Changed
pad_counts=1 & show_count=1 to 0.


And under Classipress settings under Category Options I have the follwoing settings.

Show Parent Ad Count: NO
Show Child Ad Count: NO
This option may display incorrect counts due to a bug in WordPress 3.0. We hope they will release a fix soon.
Hide Empty Child Categories: NO
Hide No Categories Text: YES
