Adding frontend user video upload?
I would like to allow my site visitors to upload a video file when they post an advert, in the same way that an image can be uploaded.
I am fully aware that it is currently possible to embed a YouTube video in the description, however this requires visitors to access two sites rather than one to accomplish the task. I would like to simplify the process ideally.
Has anyone successfully done this with Classipress (without using a third-party solution provider - YouTube, Vimeo or similar)? Is anyone aware of any modifications, tutorials or plugins (free or commercial) that could accomplish this?
This idea is not new, but it's been languishing in the official Classipress suggestions section for over two years without the developers addressing it, so any thoughts would be welcome
