Adding new menu tabs. .. .

Okay - this may seem like the thickest question on earth however I searched the forums high and low last night - and didnt find anything.

I have been trying to resolve an issue over the past few weeks (still not resolved but will persist and hopefully find a way). This has prevented me from asking other questions as I was trying to concentrate on one issue at a time.

My question is - how ON EARTH does one add a simple 'about us' page - an 'faq' page etc ... For example. On the main header there is a menu - there are three menu 'tabs'

''home'' - ''categories'' - ''blog''

I need to create other pages / headings. Ideally - as I cannot find a solution to my issue - I would like an extra ''about us'' tab, that drops down with a drop down menu with other options ...

Recently showcased in the ''showcase & feedback'' section - was a new website called ... http://consignorcity.com/

On this website, one of his menu tabs is ''MEMBERSHIP'' it is a drop down menu .... This person also has other satic pages such as ''city on the go''

How do I create something similar?

Please excuse my ignorance but again, this is all new to me. I am working with a web designer who is absolutely fantastic - hopefully I will be a lot more knowledgeable in a good few months - and will hopefully be able to share
some good new stuff with you too. Till then, please bear with me whilst I learn the ropes.
