AddThis Bookmark Bar Code
Just a quick question for the guru's on the forum regarding "AddThis"
I tried Sexy Bookmarks and didn't care much for it. I found it a bit clunky and possibly slowed things down a little. I then tried the AddThis plugin and I liked the bookmark bar it created, but I found the controls for customizing were horrible.
So now I have resorted to placing custom code right in the "single-ad_listing.php" file. I find now I have full control of where it shows up, what shows up and it works really nicely (code modified from this:
AddThis - Gallery - Toolbox + Facebook Like)
My question is, is the plugin method better, more optimized, or is this method of implementation OK as well. I have read that the more WordPress plugins you have, the slower things can get, so I figured one less plugin is a good thing?
