Adsense between search and slider

I've searched the forums, and haven't yet found someone that has posted this solution. If I've missed it then I apologize in advance.

I'd like to add a 728x90 adsense banner underneath the main search field on the homepage, just need to know where/how to insert the code. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
