Advanced search with category filtering

I read this in pre sales questions
ClassiPress version 3.1 will have a more enhanced search functionality than what you see now
but i cant see a demo of this

what i need is an advanced search with two separate fields for category and sub category
when category is selected, it should load sub categories for selected category
i tried using custom search plugin by classipro but that doesnt work either

i am using classipress 3.05

does classipress 3.1 have this feature ?

If not, does any one have any ideas on how to do this ?

I have the same feature working in ad post but i want it in advanced search
