Advanced search... how to build a 2nd taxonomy

you can see our advanced search.

We have different categories with different price ranges.
Let's say some categories have a pricerange
- from 100-5.000 �
and other categories
- from 100.000 � - 2.000.000 �

So we probably need another taxonomy, because the users should have serious search results.
I would be very happy if there were a solution without a new taxonomy.
But if not... --> taxonomy

How do I realize one of these solutions?
