Auto insert user name

Hi, I am off topic but I am trying to get ClassiPress to work with WordPress Front End PM to auto insert username in PM.
Below is a link that states how to do it, but I don't know exactly what characters I need to change and exactly where to insert it in the script. I don't know if it is a conflict with ClassiPress or my lack of knowledge. I keep getting error messages and locked out of site until I go to my HostGator and restore the page to its originally. Would really appreciate your help.
