Backend AppThemes User Account Question
I am looking for a very specific answer about the backend data feeds between WordPress and AppThemes.
My brief understanding is that all user accounts are handled by WordPress and not the themes. What I am looking to do is use a 3rd party cart/checkout system that is aligned with my CC Processor and Merchant account. Neither of those have any AppThemes plugins in the marketplace.
I am certain with the cart/checkout system I am going to attempt to use, that it interacts in both directions with the WordPress data feeds for user accounts allowing me to create a variety of different product options such as:
1. Bulk purchase of Ads i.e. 10 ad posts for $30
2. Customized memberships in ways AppThemes doesn't appear to allow
We know that the cart/checkout system will update the user accounts in WordPress however we are uncertain if AppThemes will be able to credit the user's account appropriately so that when they post a new ad after a bulk purchase it will be reflected properly. For example when they go through the ClassiPress process of posting a new ad, the price will reflect their membership level as they go.
One possible scenario/solution is that I simply breakoff from the ClassiPress Ad post process at the correct time so that it directs to my 3rd party cart/checkout and then it is all taken care of on that side. This cart/checkout system handles user account memberships and purchases on their end as well and feeds back to WordPress user accounts and vice versa.
Finally the question...
Is it possible to customize the account feed from WordPress to AppThemes to make it so the user who has a membership and/or has purchased ads in bulk, will see these account credits or adjustments reflected in their process of posting new ads? Is it even necessary to do so?
Any help in understanding this process or any solutions or any ideas of where to look further into this process would be a great help.
Thanks ahead of time.
