Can I start building content (simple post) and then migrate

Hello,

The background:

i acquired Classipress, but want to wait for the V 3.0

The QUESTION:

Can I star building content, like simple posts on a regular wordpress theme, and the migrate to Classipress V 3.0 when it will become available?

I would do this to enter and climb in Google with my domain name and my ideea, and not hold for V 3.0 and then start to do everything.
