Category sidebar question

Hi,
Not sure if this is a wordpress or classipress issue.

My category widget on my pages displays like this which is how I want it to display. The sub categories line up under the main category and are indented.


The category widget displays like this on my post pages which I don't want. It simply alphabetizes everything in a straight line. Does anyone know how I can change it so it displays like the above. Also, is there any way to change the title "category". I am assuming "no".
