    Child Theme localization

    I'm making a Classipress child theme but I don't know where (and how) put the translated file it_IT.mo for the localization
    I tryed to put it in the child theme root, but it didn't work.
    Since I want reach a full separation between child theme and its father, I don't want to put the .mo file inside the classipress root.
    Can anyone suggest me the solution?
