Custom login page template in child theme
It's very clear to me what and where to modify in order to have a customized login page, but after studying all the related topics (mostly from older versions of classipress) i came up with no UPDATE PROOF solution. so ...
In the multitude of action hooks , overrides and other cool features that Classipress is filled with, is there absolutely no way of changing the way the login/register/recover pass pages look like (and i don't mean styling and coloring it, i mean changing it's structure) WITHOUT editing the core files, and thus having to disable the updates??
why isn't this page treated like all other template pages? creating a new template page for the login in the core's root would seem much more logical to me, and it would make it overridable; i fail to see the reasons of having to build the hole page in the '/includes/theme-login.php'
thanx in advance for any valid or not so valid ideeas or solutions you might give me.
