Dissapointed with the new 3.0 look
jeez I just seen te preview of classipress 3.0, I hope the functions make up for the generic looking theme.
Yeah that's right I'm no fan of it. It's almost like woothemes or solostream threw up into an empty text file, man you even have a featured articles box (all it needs is a next article slider) and that boxed crappy web 2.0 look woothemes does so well. It's a classifieds not a blog, so the default look should reflect that. This new look screams blog/news site.
You really should have checked out
http://www.olx.in or
http://www.gumtree.com.au and took cues from there. As it is, I'm looking at what appears to be a blog and a pretty overdone looking one at that.
I may be harsh but It's disappointing I'd have to re-theme it into something that I consider looks like a classifieds site.
Considering the amount of requests all over the forums for a more craigslisy/gumtree look I'm actually surprised.
