Editing a Category into a tab

Hi all,

So I noticed there was a post titled "Look what I did - Put Categories in Tabs!". This was last updated back in 2011 and was for different versions.

At present I am using Classipress 3.3 and wanted how to Put a specific Category into a tab. This I believe to be different from the other post as it discussed option where you would most likely no longer have a drop down menu to select categories.

I want to still have my main categories in a drop-down, but be able to take one category of choice and have it as a tab instead.


If I can get some help with this it would mean the world.
