Emails.php

Hey guys,

Can a fellow member with more WP experience than I, explain why changes made to emails.php, which is then saved in a child theme, don't manifest in the resulting emails sent?

The changes I made were simple 'wording and signature' mods and the file was saved in /WP-Content/Themes/My Child Theme/Includes. None of the changes made it through!

More importantly, is it possible to achieve minor changes in this fashion and if so, how?

Also, what file is controlling the emails for -

1) Notice of Email Change - To CLIENT
2) Password Reset - To CLIENT
