Exclude Categories from Top Nav but keep them in Ad Categories
I'm trying to exclude all but 1 Category from the Top-Nav (which I understand how to do) but I'm also trying to display all of the Categories except for the aforementioned Top-Nav Category in the Ad Categories box on the Homepage.....I hope this makes sense.
All I've been able to find relating to my question is how to exclude Categories from the Top Nav, which is great, but this also excludes them from the Ad Categories box. I was excluding them by editing "theme-functions.php".
Is there another file that targets the Ad Categories box specifically or another way completely so that I could accomplish this?
