Featured ad slider how to limit the amount of ads

Hi,

I tried to find the answer to this on the forum but could not,

1) Is there a way to limit the amount of ads shown at any one time in the featured slider

2) Is there a way to give a time period for featured ads to show eg 4days

3) How in the backend do we do a search in our ads to find all featured / sticky ads
