Featured ads - close gap between image and title

Hi

Followed a mod to put the title under the image in the featured ads carousel. I wanted to enlarge the thumbnail size too, but when I do that the title of the ad goes below the shadowblock, and there is plenty of gap between the bottom of the image and the title. So does anyone know how to close that gap, I've tried adjusting all sorts of padding and margins in the main CSS file and in the child CSS file.

Any idea which piece of code will do this?
