Getting around widget not working

Hello,

I installed the French language on classipress but the widgets are not working. I tried various solutions such as deactivating all plug in, editing the sidebar theme, etc to no avail.

I was wondering just how hard it would be to manually change the text around from English to French at variouls location within the theme. For instance, changing "Home" to "Acceuil" and where the instruction to post advert, etc are located..

Alternatively, if someone has a blank French classipress installation that is working and could send it to me by email that would also solve my problem. I am asking because I already build up all my categories and went it came to adding advert on the site everything went pear shape!! I am in desperate need of help!! Thanks
