Header size needed

Hi modrator,

I need help, as my designer is working on header and logo... I have given a size for logo size is 300x80 and for header is size 940x80... now after design is ready my site is looking like this Free classifieds ads, ad listing, Post classified ads, Buy Sell Rent

But, I wanted my site header and logo to look like this site Omplassering.no after reading post i got confused http://forums.appthemes.com/header-b...188/#post62944

I want to know do i need to have bigger size for background size or I have to make changes in .CCS file
