High CPU and slow

I am finding that my site is quite slow and has high CPU.

Approx. 50,000 hits a month I have switched to a Dedicated server and am still having issues.

I am using a fresh install of the latest classipress and wordpress. No child themes but modifications to my css. Database is optimized.

I am using Wordfence with the minimum settings mainly because I need the country block on my site to help control scams. I have W3 Total Cache installed.

The only other plugins I am using is Advanced custom fields and WP Business Directory.

I allow 2 images with each ad.
Can anyone suggest other ways they have been able to speed up their sites?

I had heard that Classipress wasn't great for busy sites but mine is a local site not overly busy. I love this program as it has everything I need and want to keep using it.
